The Night Diver course introduces divers to the techniques commonly utilized to safely dive after dark or in low visibility conditions. In the summer months, this course involves at least 2 night dives at one of our local quarries. We also offer it during any appropriate Gypsy dive trips. A typical course utilizes home study and 2 dives completed under the supervision of an instructor.

Time Commitment: Approximately two hours at home to complete the home study component, and one or two nights in which two dives shall be completed under instructional supervision.

Required Equipment: Personal snorkeling gear and scuba equipment with functioning BCD auto-inflator and alternate air source, PSI/depth gauges or computer, two dive cylinders, appropriate exposure suit, compass, slate, dive light, personal marker light.
